“Quantum physics and consciousness” has been part of Dr. Galvez’s teaching since his psychiatry residency—not a trend added after the fact.
Dr. Lenoy Galvez, MD, is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Medical Director with more than 18 years of progressive clinical and leadership experience across the full spectrum of psychiatric care — including inpatient, outpatient, geriatric, consultation-liaison, and emergency psychiatry, with specialized expertise in complex, severe, and treatment-resistant conditions.
Dr. Galvez is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, individualized care to patients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Fluent in both psychopharmacology and multiple schools of psychotherapy, he takes an integrative approach that combines rigorous, evidence-based medication management with therapeutic strategies tailored to each patient's clinical profile, cultural background, and lived experience. His empathic nature and thoroughness have helped thousands of patients find stability, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility.
He completed his General Psychiatry Residency at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, where he served as Chief Medical Resident. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree with High Honors from Ross University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology — earned Summa Cum Laude with High Honors — from the University of South Florida, where he also minored in Psychology.
Dr. Galvez is widely recognized for clinical excellence, educator and lecturer, academic distinction, and leadership in the field. He has conducted research on novel psychiatric therapies at the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research and has received independent recognition from the National Institutes of Health. He is the recipient of the Clinical Excellence in Psychiatry Award and the Psychiatry Residency Intern of the Year Award, and holds numerous academic honors including Dean's List recognition and membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He has been published as a Leading Physician of the World and featured as a Top Doctor in professional publications. Dr. Galvez is fluent in English and Spanish.
